ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TATA HARRIER

Harrier will launch in India on 23rd Jan 2019, which is just a few days ahead and here will provide you with all the facts and figures that you should know if you are considering to buy it.

LOOKS:

The car looks 80% similar to is prototype showcased in the auto expo, as promised by Tata Motors. It is famous for its look. This is the most handsome looking TATA till now. Harrier has a lot of things to offer in the Indian market apart from its look.
The front portion of the car looks unconventional as the positioning of headlights is different. The headlights are mounted below the LED DRL's which gives Harrier the slick look. DRL's are multifunctional and gets LED turn indicators embedded in it, which looks very cool and upmarket. Although it misses the dynamic swipe function.
At rear Harrier gets 3D LED tail lamps which look appealing. The rear portion overall looks similar to Land Rover Discovery.
One disappointment here is the size and design of wheels on Harrier, which looks very simple and does not go with the overall styling of the car.

INTERIORS:

There are some good news as well as bad news in this department. The good news is it comes with many features some of them like 7-inch LCD display in the instrument cluster are first in the class feature and many more. The bad news is, it lags sunroof and wireless charging which is offered in Hyundai Creta.

You will get an experience of sitting in the landrover, as Harrier has many elements derived from JLR family.
The material quality is good and has many soft-touch materials on the dashboard and in the rest of the car. The wooden finish on the dashboard enhances the overall look and feels more upmarket. Harrier has huge legroom and decent headroom at the rear, thanks to its overall length.

TIAGO XZ+ LAUNCHED, PRICE 5.57 LAKHS

Tata has launched their Tiago XZ+ variant recently into indian market. This will be the top of the line model of Tiago. It will basically sit above the XZ variant and now have some additional features that were in the wish list of the customers. It is priced at 5.57 lakhs petrol and 6.31 lakhs diesel (all prices are ex-showroom delhi)

features in tata tiago xz+

The additional features in XZ+ variants are:

  • Smoked headlights:
Tiago XZ+ variant gets a all blacked smoked projector dual barrel headlamps. These are from the older Tigor model and not the one from the updated Tigor which has a crome inserts. This is the segment first feature.

  • 15 Inch diamond cut allow wheels:

Earlier the top variant of tiago comes in the 14 inch alloy wheels which are not that appealing to the eyes as it was the all white spoke wheels which appears to be little boring. But now Tata is offering the gorgeous looking 15 inch diamond cut wheel sets which are offer in Tigor. This makes Tiago more appealing and adds to its overall looks. But the diesel variant gets the same 14 inch spokes alloy wheels for cost cutting purpose.

  • 7 Inch Infotainment Touchscreen:

This is exactly the same system which is currently offered in the updated Tigor version. It supports android auto and navigation. The apple car play is currently not available, but it will be made available in future through software updates. This infotainment system comes with the 4 tweeters and 4 speakers setup.

  • Automatic Climate Control:

Tiago now has an automatic climate control system which works decently.

  • Automatic Folding ORVMS:
Tiago also comes with the automatic folding ORVM with the welcome function
  • Glossy Black Roof:
This feature is optional and one have to pay Rs.7000/- to get it done.

Apart from the above features there are not at all changes in mechanical department, the engines are  same as 1.2 litter 3-cylinder petrol and 1.05 litter 3-cylinder diesel as the earlier ones.
